The Champagne "Sweetness Scale"

For all of you out there who think you don't like Champagne because it's "too sweet" -- here's a scale to help you try another type that may be a better fit for your taste buds!

Extra Brut is the dryest Champagne. Brut follows next and varies between dry and very dry. As you increase the sweetness, you next come to Extra-Sec (off-dry to medium-dry), Sec (medium-dry), Demi-Sec (sweet), and Doux (intensely sweet).
